Michael had a really hard time counting his exercises today. He didn't know the name of the place but wanted to get something. We had lunch first upstairs then he said "Let's go". We went to Walgreen's but couldn't find what he was looking for. He was trying to explain it to me but I didn't know what he was trying to say. He was telling me he needed 'like a basket, bag to put stuff in'. When I asked what he would put in it, he said 'little things and big things'. We went back to his place and he was showing me that he was out of garbage bags! That's it ;) I had him tell me name of the store we were going to and what he needed from there. We stopped at the thrift store on 3300 So. and then I drove him back to his place.

We just did one set of exercises today and then we went to Walgreen's and came back for lunch at his place. He had walked over the other day ad bought me a hat at the hat store! Thanks Michael :)

When I came over, I gave Michael his birthday present. 'This is a nice one'. He liked his new blanket and the design. I asked him if there was anything special he wanted to do today; he wasn't sure. I asked him if he wanted to go to a movie. He said "No...let's go" We went to D.I. and he bought a movie. I bought him a birthday lunch at Sugar house BBQ. I was thinking of taking him there anyway and he was telling me where he wanted to go to lunch as we were driving; it just happened to be the same place. Good choice Michael. He wanted to go to Home Depot afterwards, but couldn't tell me what for. He saw a step stool and said he needed another one. I mentioned to him that he already had one; he seemed to be ok with that. We came back and exercised and Jerry stopped by to drop off a birthday card for him.

Today we went to the thrift store then back to his place for lunch. Since Michael's birthday is  Monday, I asked him if he wanted me to come in the afternoon on his birthday or on the regular time on Tuesday. He said he wanted me to come on Tuesday. Tuesday it is :)

We worked on exercised then went to the store and then for a walk today. 
(Michael's been asking me what I'm going to get him for Christmas, no Thanksgiving... no 'my birthday'. When I asked him what he wanted, he told me he wanted a new blanket).

Michael had some nurses come this morning. We did his exercises; it was a nice day outside so we took his papers with us and sat on a bench and did some reading. It got a little windy so we finished inside. Michael got a new charger for his phone today!
