Today we did Michael's exercises and worked on a few words and then we went to D.I. to get Michael a new carafe for his coffee pot. We found a new lamp shade too. He was funny, he put the lamp shade on his head;  I took this picture. We went to lunch at Carl's Jr. after wards. He pointed it out to me while we were driving. It was a snowy day but it was good to get out.

I didn't stay long today but we did get Michael's exercises done. He had his room cleaned yesterday and he also got new carpet installed! 

Today we worked on exercises and then Michael had a shower. We needed to leave the room because they are going to clean it. We went upstairs to the lobby with a group of other people and sat in on an activity. It was a guessing game. Afterwards, Michael went in and had lunch after walking me to the door. I left a little early today. 

Today Michael was upstairs in the lobby listening to a guy singing and playing the guitar. We listened to that for a few minutes then he went to get his hair cut. It looks nice :) We went down to his room and did his exercises and some of the word and phrases from his papers.. It was a short day today. He walked me out to the front dorry then went to have lunch. I hope he has a nice weekend :)

Michael was sitting in his chair reading a book when I came over on Tuesday. He had a little bit of a hard time telling me what he wanted today but did really good with his sentences! Debra the activities director said he was down reading with everyone at one of the activities. Maybe that's why he did better? We worked on his exercises but he kept getting distracted but we got them done. He had a shower today too and afterwards we went to lunch at Crown Burger. "Let's go to that place again down the road". We stopped at Walmart afterwards to pic up some gel for his hair and two rolls of duct tape (One for him and one for "The office".) That was sweet of him :) 

It really snowed a lot last night. We didn't go out anywhere today. Jerry is going to take Michale to pick up his shelf at D.I. that we saw the other day. We did his exercises and practiced the word, phrase and sentence papers. He did good on some and had a hard time with others but we got through them. :)

Michael was watching T.V. when I came over. He took out his D.I. flash card and told me that was where we were going that day. We did his exercises first; talked about shelves then went to D.I. and found a shelf right away. I took some measurments to see if it would fit in his space. We went to Walgreens and picked up some razors and some sprite. He wanted to go home to measure his apartment. I was telling him it was time for him to go and have lunch, he said "Or we could go out for lunch too". I asked him to show me where he wanted to go. We ended up at  Crown Burger. On the way there he said “Golly, look at that truck, that’s a wide load” or something like that it was funny. 

It was good to see Michael after being gone for so long. He said "So you decided to come back" in a playful way. ;) He was showing me all of his things.  We talked about Christmas and what he has been up to. He even gave me a Christmas card! Thanks Michael, and Jerry. :) We did his exercises, practiced his words/sentances and pictures and then practiced putting in his CD's. We went downstairs and got a calender for January and he chose some things he would like to do. After that it was time for him to go to lunch! Time fly's. We will hopefully go out on Tuesday when I see him again.
