Today we worked on Michael's exercises while maintenance was in fixing his clogged up sink. We highlighted some things on the calendar for him to do next week. He chose his word and picture matching paper to do today. We went outside and sat on the bench by the Aspen tree. He did a good job reading and matching the words to pictures. We went back in and put his folder away and he walked me to my car and then he went to lunch. When I told him I had to go he said “No you don’t, you need to stay here”. ;)

Michael was watching TV when I came over today. We took care of his plants and talked about what he did over the weekend. He said he didn't go on any drives this weekend. :( We worked on one of the monosyllable papers. I had him read all the words on the paper. We did his exercises and I had to have him keep starting over. I have him count to 10 on each exercise; he wasn't able to do that too much today. I did push him a bit with reading and his exercises today. We went up to lunch and used the free guest meal. Thanks Michael! He was trying to tell me where he wanted to go and I waited until he could somewhat tell me and then we walked up to see if the hat place has opened up yet. We walked back, sat on a bench for a few minutes and then I had to leave. I think I wore him out today. (He had a coffee mug in a bag and was telling me it was for my Dad :) he’s so dang sweet).
